Final Season Results
As before, the results are at GBML website
The team came in second place for the regular season, for the second year in a row.
Individual results were also impressive. Christina Chen and Kavish Gandhi are tied for third, and Caroline Ellison tied for ninth place. Awesome performances all around.
Team Results
You can go to the GBML website to see the current standings. As of now (11/26/11), there is a minor error in the standings: the results from our division (East) have the results from Meets 1 and 2 switched. However, the totals are correct, and Newton North is currently in SECOND PLACE, only ten points behind Lexington.
Individual Results
Currently, students cannot look at the standings for individuals, but coaches can. Mr. Curry, from the GBML, who maintains the website, will set up a password for students soon. After the first two meets, Christina Chen is tied for first with a perfect 36. Kavish Gandhi has the highest total of any ninth grader and Anna Ellison is tied with a student from Newton South for the second highest score for ninth graders. Great work everyone!
Runoffs for December 7 Meet
Because Parent Conferences start this Wednesday at 4 PM, we need to get runoffs done ASAP after G block. If you can't finish the runoffs on Wednesday, please remember that Thursday is a half-day for students, so the buses will leave at 11 AM. I can do runoffs before school. Let me know if you need to arrange a time to take care of this.
Practices
Practices are Wednesday afternoon in Room 465 immediately after school except on weeks that we have competitions (see Dates below).

If you are competing this week, please come and get a dismissal slip from me. I will have dismissal slips ready by the end of A block on Monday (I am in my classroom C, D, G and X blocks and in 473 during E block). I will have practice rounds ready by the end of the day Monday.
If you are listed as competing, but cannot attend, please let me or Caroline know right away.
